Golf Cart Attendant

The Golf Cart Attendant provides exceptional customer service to golfers throughout the course. They maintain the golf cart fleet by washing or detailing the carts daily, stocking cart amenities (pencils, scorecards, tees, etc.), removing trash after each use, ensuring proper fuel or power to carts, inspecting each cart for mechanical problems, counting and securing all carts at closing, and reporting all mechanical problems to a supervisor. They maintain the range in proper condition by ensuring an adequate level of range balls, collecting, cleaning or delivering balls, tee alignment, and trash removal. Attendants will assist golfers with their golf bags as needed and keep clubhouse area neat, clean and free of debris.

Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings. Some moderate lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching will be required, as well as the ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.

Beverage Cart Attendant

This position provides golfers, restaurant, and banquet patrons with exceptional customer service throughout the day. Position may provide both server duties in the dining room, as well as beverage cart service out on the golf course. Duties include taking orders, delivering food, handling cash / credit cards, set up and cleaning of the snack carts and dining room, and other food service duties as assigned. Beverage Cart Attendants will drive carts around the course, selling food and drinks to golfers. Occasionally, banquet service will also be part of the job responsibilities.

Must be available to work varied schedules to include some days, evenings and weekends. Prior experience in food service or customer service is required - prior golf course experience preferred. Shifts may start as early as 6am and go as late as 11pm. Must be 18 years old to be considered, as position will serve alcohol.

Pro Shop Attendant

The Pro Shop Attendant provides exceptional customer service to golf course customers. Duties include booking tee times, collecting greens fees, resolving customer complaints, merchandise sales, golfer registration, answering multi-line phones, golf outing preparation and execution, assistance with golf cart operation, and must keep the pro shop neat and presentable. Individuals will have knowledge of available merchandise, course conditions, rates, and hours of operations.

Individuals should have at least 6 months to 1 year of cash handling / register experience in a retail or customer service environment; previous golf course / shop experience is highly desirable. Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings. This position also requires the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Some moderate lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching will be required, as well as the ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.

Starter / Ranger

The Starter / Ranger provides exceptional customer service to golfers throughout the course. They facilitate safe use of the course and continuity of play by assuring that each group begins play in a timely manner; communicate course information, course layout, pace of play, cart and course rules, etc… Starter / Ranger will manage traffic during peak times to ensure smooth course play, which includes driving the course to ensure pace of play is upheld. They assist golf shop staff in the starting of open play, league play and outings as well as assist with outside services for outings.

Grounds Crew / Maintenance

The Greenskeeper performs ground maintenance tasks such as mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough on the golf course and surrounding property. They will change cups and pins, moves tee markers, and empty trash containers throughout the course. General landscaping work is also required such as pruning trees and shrubs, weeding flower beds, and weed whip tall grass areas. Throughout the golf course, the greens keeper will: cut, lay, and water sod; edge, trim, and rake bunkers; perform cart path repairs and improvements; perform preventive maintenance on equipment which includes changing oil and filters, grease moving parts, sharpen blades, and check air pressure in tires.

The position requires skill in the operation of specialized golf course maintenance equipment, skill in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and maintaining various grass types, and other landscaping / maintenance duties as assigned. Must be able to lift weights of 100lbs.
